It remains to be seen whether the game has enough mission variety and doesnt end up like Far Cry where you keep doing the same kind of missions over and over, but the game is definitely on my radar now. It was a cool moment, and felt really natural and unscripted. At this point my men and I jumped in a chopper that was parked there and giving the order to assault the men took out the bad guys as I flew the chopper in circles around the compound. Again its very tactical like old school Ghost Recon with many ways to go about it. After finding the location of the man you're after you jump in a car GTA style and drive to the destination. You approach this just like a traditional Ghost Recon game, giving orders to your team, using tech and drones to go in stealth, or just going in shooting. The first mission has you track down a bad guy you need to interrogate to find the location of a badder guy. It doesnt seem to fall into the Ubisoft open world trap, it doesnt feel like another variation of Assassins Far Cry, it really does feel like a proper Ghost Recon game set in an open world. But Watch Dogs 2 was a step in the right direction and after spending a bit of time on the beta, I think Ghost Recon: Wildlands has a ton of potential. Im over the fetch quests and ten trillion collectables without any actual decent missions. This was a game I really had my doubts about, as Im so over Ubisoft's brand of open world games lately. Nothing is off-topic, unless I say it is.
Instead, use the 'Handout' flair and give it a nondescript title.
